Pakistan will organize a high level international competition of e-sports titled Free Fire League.

In this connection a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Ministry of Information and Gerena in Islamabad on Monday.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain also witnessed the MoU signing ceremony.

On this occasion, while formally announcing the launch of E-Pak initiative, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the league will help the youth to win prizes worth 10 million rupees.

The Minister urged Pakistani youth to invest in e-gaming as it has become a major industry globally.

He said 567 teams will participate in the league that is being sponsored by Bigo Technology.

The E-Pak is PTI government's initiative aimed at promoting e-gaming in Pakistan.
