Egypt has agreed to open its border crossing with Gaza Strip for allowing aid to reach trapped Palestinian people.
Following a phone call between U.S President Joe Biden and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, a White House spokesman said about 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid would enter Gaza from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula in the coming days.
In a separate statement, Egyptian President said that Egypt would reject the forced displacement of Palestinians into Sinai as any such move would turn the Egyptian peninsula into a base for attacks against Israel.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, deadly Israeli air raids continue to pound several targets overnight as the the humanitarian crisis worsened.
Angry protests were taken out in several countries of Muslim world including Lebanon, Jordan, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco and Iran against the deadly attack on a Gaza Hospital.
Meanwhile, Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi warned of a harsh revenge by the Islamic world for the crimes committed in Palestine.
Addressing a gathering in Tehran, held in solidarity with the Palestinian people, he said that attack on a hospital will cause the end of Zionist regime.
