Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan fully supports all efforts at international level for ceasefire in Gaza.

Speaking at special meeting on the sidelines of D8 summit in Cairo today, he said Israeli barbaric brutalities in Gaza enclave has now extended to occupied West Bank.

The Prime Minister warned that Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year is a black chapter in the history and it is a huge human tragedy which cannot be imagined.

He said Pakistan has condemned Israeli strikes in Gaza, Occupied West Bank, Lebanon and Syria.

The Prime Minister said Israeli actions against UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees is also condemnable as this organization is lifeline for millions of Palestinians.

He said Pakistan has continuously supported two state just and comprehensive solution of this dispute for lasting peace in the region.

Shehbaz Sharif said we want an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital prior to 1967 boundaries.
