Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for homeland after completing his two-day visit to Cairo.
At Cairo International Airport, the Prime Minister was seen off by Minister of Civil Aviation of Egypt, Dr. Sameh Ahmed Al-Hafni, and officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Cairo.
During his stay in Cairo, the Prime Minister participated in the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) from December 18 to 19.
During the Summit, the Prime Minister delivered an important address on the humanitarian crisis, and challenges of reconstruction in Gaza and Lebanon, which have been exacerbated by Israeli aggression in the Middle East.
Shehbaz Sharif also met with fellow heads of state attending the summit, and discussed various regional and global issues.
The Pakistani delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
