Five bills were introduced in the Senate today.

These include; “The National Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill, 2025”, “The National Commission for Human Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2025”,  “The Pakistan Penal Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025”,  “The Islamabad Healthcare Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2025” and  “The  Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (Amendment of Article 27 of the Constitution).”

The Chair referred the bills to the Standing Committees concerned.
