Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has expressed the government's commitment to taking the country on the path of development.

Addressing an event in Islamabad on Thursday, he was confident that Pakistan will become a leading economy in the world by 2035.

He however said that we have to ensure peace, stability and continuity of policies to achieve the goal. 

Addressing another event in Islamabad today, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for coordinated efforts between the federal and provincial governments to bring improvement in important sectors such as health and education.

He said Uraan Pakistan envisages measures aimed at ensuring socio economic development of the country on sustainable basis.
