Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has said Pakistan attaches great importance to its ties with Japan.

Addressing a function in Islamabad, he said the current bilateral trade volume stands at one point two-seven billion dollar.

He said the government is committed to create new opportunities for businesses and fostering people-to-people connections.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the Japanese government and companies for their continued investment in Pakistan, acknowledging the presence of more than eighty Japanese firms operating in key sectors.
