Benazir Income Support Program and National Rural Support Program signed a Memorandum of Understanding today for collaboration in Business Incubation for Self-employment Program of BISP.

The program for graduation of BISP beneficiaries across Pakistan is financed by Asian Development Bank under Social Protection Development Project, which is to be followed by signing of Service Level Agreement for the Business Incubation for Self-employment Program.

The first phase of the program worth thirty five million dollars would be implemented over two years from next month.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson BISP Marvi Memon said the Business Incubation for Self-employment program aims at making poor people ready for taking up viable self-employment.

She said the program will target 100,000 households in five districts including Bahawalpur, Charsadda, Jacobabad, Kech and Nasirabad.
