Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that China will continue to work with other parties in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

While delivering a keynote speech via video link at the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2021 on Tuesday, Xi said that China will expand cooperation with other countries in diverse fields.

He called for more equitable global governance rejecting the hegemonic power structures. He criticized efforts by some countries to build barriers which he said would harm others and benefit no one.
