In Yemen, at least 79 people have been killed and more than 100 injured in a stampede in the Bab al-Yemen area near capital Sanaa.

In a statement, Yemen's Interior Ministry said the tragic incident took place during a charity distribution where hundreds of poor were gathered to get charity for Eid.
