Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has confirmed playing a T20 international for ICC World Xi against the West Indies.

The proceeds of the match will be spent on the flood victims in Caribbean.

Afridi confirmed it via Twitter saying "I feel strongly to support this as a cricketer and Muslim."

Earlier, some reports suggested that he will not play in the match because of foot injury.

The match will be played on 31 of this month.
