Justice Umar Ata Bandial took oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan in Islamabad on Friday.

Justice Qazi Faez Isa administered the oath to him.

Justice Umar Ata Bandial will act as Chief Justice during the period, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed remains abroad.
