President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have  paid tribute to Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed on his 55th martyrdom anniversary.

In their separate statements, they said   Rashid Minhas Shaheed set an everlasting example of courage, devotion to duty and patriotism, and his unparalleled sacrifice for the motherland would always be remembered.

The President said the sacrifices of the martyrs are the foundation of Pakistan’s defence, security and national resolve.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity and national interests.
