Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has categorically stated that Pakistan's policy on Palestine 

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said Pakistan has repeatedly expressed support and solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people.

He said two consignments of humanitarian assistance have been sent to the Palestinian people in the wake of recent Israeli atrocities, and it has been decided by the civilian and military leadership to double this aid.

The Special Assistant said Pakistan is in contact with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries on the Middle East situation.

Maulana Tahir Ashraf also emphatically stated that Pakistan has no contacts with Israel.
