PDMA KP releases over Rs350m for affectees of Zarb-e-Azb

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released more than three hundred and fifty million rupees for the registered families of North Waziristan district who were affected by operation Zarb-e-Azb.

According to a press release issued by the office of Director General PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sharif Hussain, these funds will be distributed among eighteen thousand registered families through SIM cards within two days.

Sharif Hussain said the authority is regularly distributing financial assistance and ration among the tribals who are displaced due to terrorism.

Under the package, 12,000 rupees are being distributed per month among the families repatriated from Afghanistan, while a ration allowance of 8,000 rupees per family is regularly distributed through their registered SIM cards.

Director General PDMA said so far more than one hundred thousand families have been repatriated to their native areas.
