Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has that Iqbal's poetry serves as a beacon of guidance for us.

He stated this while addressing the Iqbal Conference 2025, organized by the Iqbal Academy Pakistan in Lahore on Monday.

He said that through poetry, Allama Iqbal nurtured the minds of a subjugated nation and showed the path to freedom.

Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that in order to put Pakistan on the path of development, we must adopt Iqbal’s message.

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that efforts are underway to highlight Iqbal’s thought at the global level.

He informed that Iqbal Academies will be established in all provinces of Pakistan and arrangements will be made to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal in 2027 in a grand manner.

He said that Iqbal Chairs will be established in universities across the country by the Higher Education Commission.

He said that “Uraan Pakistan” program will take us to new intellectual heights.
