A meeting convened by Minister for Water Resources, Ali Zafar in Islamabad has reviewed matters related to Diamer Bhasha Dam project.

During the meeting, different issues causing hindrances in implementation of the project including resettlement of the affected people and boundary dispute between Gilgit-Baltistan and KPK came under discussions.

The Minister directed to call a meeting of Ministerial Committee which has already been constituted to resolve the issues of Diamer-Bhasha Dam with representation of GB Government to resolve the issue of resettlement.

The Minister also directed to convene another meeting of Ministerial Committee for unresolved boundary dispute between KPK and Gilgit Baltistan to resolve the issue at the earliest.
