In Indonesia, at least nine people have been killed after a ferry sank off the coast of an Indonesian island due to bad weather.

The ferry capsized in waters off Indonesia’s Ternate island.

The boat was carrying 77 passengers and crew on board as it traveled to nearby Halmahera island. Four people remain missing.
