
Pakistan and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed commitment to deepen development partnership and accelerate economic reforms.
This came at a meeting between Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema and Development Director UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Sam Waldock in Islamabad today.
Ahad Cheema acknowledged the FCDO's valuable support for the Strategic Initiatives Unit, which is strengthening policy implementation through embedded delivery mechanisms, as well as its assistance to the Governance Reforms Unit in advancing institutional reforms.
Sam Waldock reaffirmed the United Kingdom's continued commitment to supporting Pakistan's development priorities through ongoing collaboration in key sectors.
