Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has said that the federal government is spending huge amount to help facilitate the farmer community of Balochistan region.

Talking to PTV, he said heavy amount was provided to farmer community so that they could convert tube-wells into solar energy.

The Minister said the federal and Punjab governments have also allocated sufficient funds to extend relief to people in electricity sector.

He said all available resources are being utilized to facilitate the people of provinces whereas; the funds have been provided to provinces through NFC award.
