The demand for new provinces is gaining momentum in Balochistan.

Residents of Dera Bugti called for the creation of at least six to eight provinces in Balochistan.

They said that the long distance to Quetta makes it difficult for people in Dera Bugti to access healthcare and other basic facilities.

They said the creation of new provinces would make it easier for the people in Dera Bugti and other remote areas to access government services.
