The first humanitarian aid convoy of twenty trucks entered the besieged Gaza Strip on Saturday through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt for delivering the relief.

UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths has expressed the confidence that this delivery will be the start of a sustainable effort to provide essential supplies to the 2.3 million people of Gaza.
