Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government to prioritize the development of tribal districts and complete ongoing projects as soon as possible.

Chairing a high level meeting in Peshawar today (Monday), he said special attention should be paid to these districts as the people of these areas rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the country. 

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan, Governor Shah Farman and other senior officials while Ministers Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Asad Umar, Umer Ayub, Faisal Vowda participated through video link.

The meeting was briefed about development package for tribal districts along with projects of health, education, infrastructure and others in the province. The meeting was told the 50 billion rupees have so far been spent on these projects.
