Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Government's commitment for uniform progress and prosperity of all areas by spreading a vast network of development projects.

Addressing a public gathering in Dera Ghazi Khan, he said the economy has stabilized over the past year, emphasizing that the goal now is to strengthen sectors such as agriculture and industry to boost exports and create job opportunities for millions of people.

The prime minister, expressing his views in local Saraiki dialect, said that Nawaz Sharif and he had a strong relation with this region.

The prime minister said an era of progress and prosperity has dawned upon the area in which the youth would get jobs opportunities.

He said peace is imperative to achieve the goal of development and nation would never forget the sacrifices of security personnel in the war against terrorism.

On the occasion, he announced the construction of cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan and university in Rajan Pur.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, in his welcome address, said that the people had converged in huge numbers to acknowledge the prime minister’s development agenda.
