A large number of faithful across the country sat in aitikaf on Friday evening on the beginning of the last Ashra of Ramadan ul Mubarak.

In this regard, special arrangements have been made in mosques to facilitate the devotees.

The basic aim of Aitkaf by the devotees is to pray to Allah Almighty for showering His blessings on human beings in general and Muslims in particular.
