The Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered advocate general Punjab to assist the court on a petition for oath taking of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz.

The LHC also ordered the advocate general to appear in the court after taking instructions from Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema on the matter.

Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti passed the orders while hearing a petition filed by newly-elected Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz.
