Saudi Arabia rejects Israel’s West Bank annexation plans

Saudi Arabia has rejected Israel’s pledge to annex parts of the occupied Palestinian West Bank.

In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said Riyadh will oppose anything that hinders the peace process to achieve stability in the region.

It said The Kingdom will continue to “support the Palestinians and their choices, as well as their right to establish their own independent state.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority have suspended contacts with the CIA after announcing an end to security co-ordination with Israel and the United States in a protest against Israeli proposal to annex territory in Occupied West Bank.

Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erekat told reporters on Video call that Washington had been told of the move after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said his administration was no longer committed to agreements with Israel and the United States, including on security co-ordination.
