Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has expressed confidence that IMF Executive Board will give approval to seven billion dollars programme for Pakistan next month.

In a text message to news agency Reuters, he said Pakistan is making good progress with the International Monetary Fund.

Finance Minister said Pakistan in talks with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and China to meet gross financing needs under the IMF programme.

Pakistan and the IMF had reached an agreement on the 37-month loan programme last month.
