In the United States, five persons were killed and over forty injured when a sports utility vehicle sped through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin state.

According to Wisconsin Police chief, the vehicle hit dozens of people including children.

Another official involved in early investigations of the incident said the suspect appears to have fled another scene after ramming into people at the parade.
