The United Kingdom will provide funding worth 108 million pounds to help Pakistani businesses adapt to the threat of Climate Change.
According to a press release issued by the UK Government, this was announced by Minister for the Middle East Hamish Falconer during a visit to Pakistan.
Local Pakistani businesses will benefit from this funding to support the development of climate technologies and expertise to tackle climate change.
This first-of-its-kind programme will be delivered in partnership with the International Finance Corporation.
The programme will help create over 100,000 Pakistani jobs.
