Russia has warned the United States to stop creating anti-Moscow military sites near the borders and said that Washington is distorting reality over Ukraine issue.

 In a Tweet, the Russian Embassy in the United States called on Washington not to distort reality by blaming Moscow for the escalating situation in Ukraine.

This statement came as a response after the US State Department spokesperson Ned Price tweeted that Russia and its proxies are responsible for escalating tensions in Ukraine.
