China has officially opened its first Consulate General in Bandar Abbas to deepen bilateral ties and cooperation with Iran.

Talking on the occasion, Chinese envoy to Iran Chang Hua hailed the move as a fresh landmark moment in China-Iran relations to implement the comprehensive cooperation plans between the two countries.

Deputy Governor of Hormuzgan province Adel Shahrzad said opening of the consulate general will play an important role in developing bilateral relations and enhancing exchanges in various fields.
