A week-long polio eradication campaign kicked off in sixteen districts of Karachi and Hyderabad divisions in Sindh on Monday.

During the campaign, 4.96 million children up to the age of five years will be administered with polio drops.

The spokesperson of health department informed Radio Pakistan that around twenty-seven thousand workers of the health department will visit door to door during the campaign.

Parents have been requested to cooperate with polio teams.

The campaign will continue till 29th of this month.
