Spell of rain & snowfall hit upper KP, GB, Kashmir, Islamabad and north Balochistan

Rain and snowfall occurred at mountains in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad and north Bolachistan during last twelve hours.

Cloudy weather with more rain and snowfall is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next twelve hours. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

However, light rain and drizzle is expected in Potohar region. Fog is likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Lahore fourteen degree centigrade, Karachi 18, Peshawar 13, Quetta 10, Gilgit 8, Muaffarabad 9, and Murree seven degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of light rain is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla, cloudy with chances of light rain and snow in Leh, and Partly cloudy in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula four degree centigrade, Shopian and Anantnag five, Leh zero and Jammu thirteen degree centigrade.
