The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast widespread rain-wind and thunderstorms with snowfall over the hills across various regions of the country from tomorrow (Monday).

A strong westerly weather system is expected to enter the western parts of Pakistan and it will extend to the upper parts by Tuesday.

Heavy rain could trigger flash floods in vulnerable areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir between February 25th and March first.

Mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galliyat may experience landslides.
