Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced provision of relief to the salaried class in the forthcoming budget.

Speaking to media representatives in Lahore today, he emphasized the private sector’s vital role in driving the country’s economic progress, saying that foreign exchange reserves are growing steadily.

The minister also expressed Government's commitment to support the construction industry while ensuring no gambling activities in real estate.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said consultations with business leaders have already begun ahead of the budget.

He stressed that the economic foundation has been laid, and the focus is now on achieving sustainable growth. He said currency stability, a reduced policy rate, and a rising stock exchange are signs of the country's improving economic health.
