Former Pakistan Cricket captain Azhar Ali achieved a rare distinction in his cricket career reaching his 7,000 Test runs during Pakistan's third and last test against Australia at the Gadaffi stadium Lahore today (Wednesday).

He becomes the fifth Pakistani batsman and 54th in cricket to score 7,000 Test-run.
