In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while greeting people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day have said that the Kashmiris and Pakistanis are connected in a strong bond of religion.
According to Kashmir Media Service, illegally detained APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, in a message form New Delhi's infamous Tihar Jail said Pakistan has a political importance for the Muslims around the globe particularly the Muslims of South Asia and Jammu and Kashmir.
Other Hurriyat leaders including Khadim Hussain, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qummi and Maulana Pir Sajid Nadvi in their statements in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris have linked their destiny with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, a Delhi court has sent illegally detained Kashmiri rights activist Khurram Parvez and journalist Irfan Meraj to a Ten-day custody of India's dreaded National Investigation Agency in a false case registered against them.
In Washington, the Chairman of World Forum for Peace and Justice, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, commenting on a report released by the US State Department on human rights abuses by Indian troops in Kashmir said that the world powers are watching the plight of people of Kashmir like spectators.
