Khan Hasham Bin Siddique (Former Ambassador): Indian design of hosting G-20 moot in IIOJK which is internationally recognized disputed territory is against the International laws and norms. India wanted to politicize the regional issues in the summit. However, some of our strategic partners including China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and others have taken a bold step by not attending the summit. This is the victory of Pakistan's stance that Kashmir is a disputed territory and holding moot in a disputed territory is against the international standards. The world is well aware of the Indian gross human rights violations and committing the worst atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India once again fails to India fails to mislead world and divert attention from its repression in IIOJK. Unfortunately, Indian atrocities have risen since 2019 when the government of India revoked the special status of the region.
