A leading Taliban figure, currently in charge of security of Kabul, Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani has urged all Afghans to feel safe as general amnesty has been granted across the country.

In an interview with Aljazeera, he said Taliban are working to restore order in the country.

Haqqani said Taliban have no hostility with Afghan people, rather their struggle is against the foreign powers that came to Afghanistan to divide the nation and forced a war on them.
