Pakistan beat Afghanistan by 142 runs in the first One-Day International of three match series at Hambantota in Sri-Lanka last night.

Batting first, Pakistan set a victory target of 202 for the loss of all wickets.

In reply, Afghanistan were all out for just 59 runs in 19.2 overs.

Haris Rauf, who took five wickets, was declared man of the match.

The second match of the series will be played at the same venue tomorrow.

The match will start at 2:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time.
