The United States Ambassador to Canada David Cohen says Five Eyes (FVEY) intelligence has confirmed involvement of Indian agents in the murder of Khalistan freedom leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

In an interview to CTV News, the US Ambassador said there was a lot of communication between Canada and the United States about the Indian security services’ involvement in the killing of the Sikh activist on Canadian soil.

Meanwhile, CBS report said the intelligence included communications of Indian officials present in Canada, adding some of the information was provided by an unidentified ally in the Five Eyes alliance – an intelligence-sharing network that includes the US, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Bloomberg News reported that Canadian officials also shared communications and phone numbers with the Indian government.
