The country's largest social protection program of Ehsaas will establish a Women Empowerment Center in South Waziristan to impart livelihood skills training to 200 deserving women annually. According to an official of the Ehsaas Programme, this social safety initiative is likely to benefit over 25 percent population of South Waziristan during the current year through various schemes in a transparent manner.
He said more than 20,000 families will likely to benefit from Ehsaas Kafaalat, over 35,000 children from Waseela-e-Taleem Digital, 2,500 children and mothers from two Nashonuma Centers which will in South Waziristan during the current year. An amount of 22.3 million rupees has been earmarked for providing individual financial assistance to the poorest families in need.
