The Senate briefly met at the Parliament House in Islamabad today with Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan in the chair.

"The Prevention of Electronic Crimes (Amendment) Bill, 2025", "The Digital Nation Pakistan Bill, 2025", "The Pakistan Telecommunication (Re-Organization) (Amendment) Bill, 2025" and "The National Commission for Minorities Bill, 2025" were introduced in the House.

The chair referred the bills to the standing committees concerned.

Besides, "The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (Ordinance No. IX of 2024)" was laid before the Upper House.

The House will now meet on Monday at four p.m.
