Five-day historic Sibi traditional festival began in Sibi on Sunday.

Various events including a Flower show, contest of national songs, folk dance, motorcycle jumps and horse dances exhibition of animals like camels, buffalos and cows are part of the annual event.

Apart from this, local artists and those from other parts of the country perform during the festival.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan emphasized the need for peaceful atmosphere to continue the developmental process in the province.  

He said we are proud of the security forces for restoring peace in the province.
