Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his willingness to give up presidency in exchange for Nato membership for his country.

His comments came during a news conference in Kyiv.

Meanwhile, EU and world leaders are due to head to Kyiv today to show their support for Ukraine and discuss security guarantees.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are among those expected to attend the meeting in person.
