Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has expressed his pleasure that one Eid is being observed across the country and the Muslim world after a long time. 

Sharing his sentiments on this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan, he said this has given the message of unity and solidarity.

He said we are not celebrating a traditional Eid this year due to the tragic crash of PIA aircraft and the situation arising out of Coronavirus. He prayed for the safety of the people.

Director General Radio Pakistan Ambreen Jan, in her remarks, said that given the current situation, the people should mark the Eid with simplicity and they should stay at homes to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.

Appreciating the services of the employees of Radio Pakistan, she said they have diligently worked as a frontline warriors during the entire Covid-19 pandemic.
