Taking floor on the motion, Leader of Opposition Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani in Senate said atrocities in Palestine and Kashmir cannot usurp the rights of their people.
He said talks are the only way forward for the core issues of the world. He urged the world to resolve the issues of Palestine and Kashmir as per the aspirations of their people.
Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani said attacks on innocent worshipers are against all norms of humanity and human laws.
Speaking on the occasion, Leader of the House Dr. Shahzad Waseem said Prime Minister Imran Khan took an effective stance on the issue of Palestine. He said Pakistan played a leading role in bringing a ceasefire from Israel.
The Leader of the House said Israel started its brutalities against innocent Palestinians when they were busy praying on the 27th of Ramazan.
Urging the world to help Palestinians after ceasefire, he said Pakistani educational institutions are open for the students of Palestine.
He said human rights organizations need to play their role and war crimes committed by Israel should be taken into the International Court of Justice.
Dr Shahzad Waseem said Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been bleeding since decades. He said Israel and India both are using the same methods of illegal occupation, killing of innocent people and bringing demographic changes by settling Jews and Hindus respectively.
Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri in his remarks condemned the brutal use of force by Israel against the armless people of Palestine. He called for a joint action from Muslim Ummah to address this issue.
Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary in his comments said Pakistan presented the case of Palestine worldwide.
He said a collective effort needs to be taken for the solution of the longstanding issue.
Taking the floor of the House, Sherry Rehman said blockade in Palestine has stopped the medical aid in the war torn area. He said Israel is committing war crimes but unfortunately the world is silent.
Faisal Sabzwari in his remarks said the Palestine issue is directly linked with the peace of the world. He said Muslim world should ask the US to play its role in bringing a permanent solution to the Palestine issue.
Anwar Ullah Kakar lauded the government for raising a strong voice against Israel’s atrocities in Palestine.
Faisal Javed taking the floor of the House said that Prime Minister Imran Khan played a pivotal and effective role in uniting Muslim Ummah on the issue of Palestine. He said Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi represented sentiments of Muslim Ummah at United Nation General Assembly.
Faisal Javed said it is for the first time that western media has also condemned Israel for its inhuman action against Palestinians.
