The Members Sindh Assembly from PTI have filed a petition in the Election Commission in Karachi on Monday to disqualify PPP Member Assembly Faryal Talpur from the assembly membership as she is facing charges of fake accounts, money laundering and corruption.

The petition was filed by PTI members Haleem Adil Sheikh and Arsalan Taj.

It said that Faryal Talpur is facing charges in the Islamabad high court and as such cannot hold the assembly membership.

Talking to media after filing the petition, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that anybody involved in corruption will face the inquiry and will be taken to task for his or her crimes.
