Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the government is providing a conducive environment to promote investment and business activities in the country.

He made the remarks during meetings in New York with delegations of the US based Pakistani business leaders and professionals representing information technology, artificial intelligence, automobiles, energy, construction and various other sectors.

Shehbaz Sharif said the business leaders and professionals are ambassadors of Pakistan who project a positive image of the country through their contributions around the world. He invited them to invest in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue have helped address the issues faced by the business community.

He said the government is taking priority measures to promote innovation in the agricultural sector and accelerate its development.

The business leaders and professionals appreciated the Prime Minister’s leadership and praised the government’s initiatives in agriculture, industry, exports and particularly FBR reforms.
